Tap Japanese words on the beat
A circle of cyan light pulses to the BPM. Smash 今日 → は → 晴れ → です in time with the kick drum.
Get judged: PERFECT / GREAT / OFF-BEAT / MISS
Hit on the beat for PERFECT. Slightly off? GREAT. Words right but rhythm wrong? OFF-BEAT (still partial credit). Wrong word order = MISS.

Is it free to play?
Yes — the free trial gives you 10 random BEGINNER (N5) questions drawn from a 100-sentence pool, with full music, rhythm and ranking. Every play feels fresh. No signup or credit card required. The Full version unlocks all 4 difficulties, 210 sentences total, and theme filtering.
Do I need to know any Japanese?
No prior knowledge required. Start at the BEGINNER (N5) level — hints under each word show the English meaning so you learn as you play.
How does the rhythm scoring work?
Every tap is judged against the BPM. PERFECT is within ±160ms of the beat, GREAT is within ±340ms. Hit all words PERFECTLY and your combo multiplies your score.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes — designed for landscape mobile play. Rotate your phone sideways for the best experience. Works on iOS Safari, Chrome, and Android browsers.
Can I see how I rank globally?
Yes. After each game, submit your score to the World Leaderboard. Anonymous — just pick a name (max 12 characters) and you're on the board.

How do I play the Full version after purchase?
After payment you'll see a "Recovery Code" (cs_...). Save it. Click "Start the game" and the cookie unlocks everything in your browser. For another device, go to skillyoron.com/ja/restore and paste the code.
What is the Recovery Code for?
It's your unique purchase verification code. Normally the cookie remembers your purchase. But if you clear cookies or switch device/browser, paste the Recovery Code on the /restore page to unlock again. One purchase = unlimited devices.
What if I lose the Recovery Code?
Email info@skillyoron.com with the address you used at purchase. We'll look it up on Stripe and send the code back.
